Description
Vidalista 60 mg is a high-strength formulation of tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used primarily for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). Tadalafil works by relaxing smooth muscles and increasing blood flow to the penile region during sexual arousal, making it easier to achieve and maintain an erection. It does not produce an erection without sexual stimulation.
One of tadalafil’s distinguishing features is its long duration of action. Vidalista 60 mg can remain effective for up to 36 hours, which is why tadalafil is sometimes referred to as the “weekend pill.” This extended effect allows for greater spontaneity compared to some other ED medications.
The medication is typically taken 30–60 minutes before sexual activity, and only once within a 24-hour period. Because 60 mg is a higher dose, it is generally prescribed when lower strengths are not sufficiently effective, and it should only be used under medical supervision.
Common side effects may include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, back pain, muscle aches, indigestion, and dizziness. Serious but rare side effects can include sudden vision or hearing loss, chest pain, or a prolonged and painful erection (priapism).
Vidalista 60 mg should not be used by individuals taking nitrates or certain heart medications, as this combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Consultation with a healthcare professional is essential, particularly for individuals with cardiovascular, liver, or kidney conditions.
