Description
Kamagra Oral Jelly is an alternative formulation of sildenafil citrate designed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Unlike traditional tablets, it comes in a flavored jelly form that is taken orally without the need to swallow a pill, making it convenient for individuals who have difficulty swallowing tablets. The jelly format may also allow for faster absorption compared to standard tablets.
Sildenafil citrate belongs to a class of medications known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by blocking the PDE5 enzyme, which increases levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This process relaxes smooth muscle tissue and improves blood flow to the penile area during sexual arousal, enabling a firm and sustained erection. Sexual stimulation is required for the medication to be effective.
Kamagra Oral Jelly is typically taken 30–60 minutes before planned sexual activity, and its effects may last for approximately 4–6 hours. Common side effects include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, indigestion, and mild visual disturbances. Rare but serious side effects can include chest pain, sudden vision or hearing loss, or prolonged erection (priapism), which requires immediate medical attention.
This medication should not be used with nitrate medications or certain heart drugs due to the risk of a severe drop in blood pressure. It should be taken under medical supervision, especially by individuals with cardiovascular conditions, liver or kidney disorders, or other underlying health concerns.
